Rate of households with children. Based on number of households with no regard to parent’s status as either married, cohabiting, single or other. Households are also by number of registered children living at home. Age of children living at home differ between countries. Counted at a specified month by year-end. Month of counting and age group for children living at home is specified in country-note.

Children are defined as children aged 0-17 years living at home.

Iceland

The numbers are based on registries on the 1st of January the following year.
